Introducing Danielle: Since the beginning of January, Speer IT has employed a full-time Marketer. We interviewed Danielle Nierop, one of our new colleagues.

DANIELLE, WHAT IS YOUR FIRST IMPRESSION?

“The first impression I got of Speer IT is that it is an innovative and very committed company to its customers and to its employees. After a warm welcome by the colleagues present, a serious and professionally designed on-boarding program started immediately. The first challenge was a 3-day training in Cocon, Speer IT’s fiber optic registration system. Followed by an online training in CoconTheWeb. I thought it was a super fun start because you immediately get an impression of what the software does, what our customers are working with on a daily basis and why such a GIS system is so important. It really opened up a whole new world for me. The fiberglass industry has many facets and many different parties who fulfill different roles. There is an incredibly nice challenge waiting for me.”

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO WORK FOR SPEER IT?

“I have been in the IT industry for almost 28 years and I am therefore familiar with the many advantages of digitization. Through an old acquaintance this great position of Sr. Marketing Manager came on my path. A role that offers me another nice challenge in which I can apply all my all-round marketing skills and knowledge. Speer IT has the ambition to expand its international footprint and become a major player abroad as well. That will be one of my focus areas in order to realize that growth together.
