As of September 1, Elke Seckel has joined Speer IT as Product Owner, a role in which she has over 10 years of experience. We see her ability to share knowledge, optimize processes and promote effective communication as invaluable to the team and to the organization.
Who is Elke?
“I am someone who enjoys both sharing knowledge and acquiring knowledge. I get satisfaction from being able to actually add something of value to the team, the product and the process, as well as to the communication and cooperation with customers.
My previous career in banking was, for me, very rewarding and diverse. The focus there was on detachment in various roles, which gave me a wide range of experiences and insights, especially in the area of product manager and product owner.
During that period, I also trained in Lean Six Sigma. The training offered a lot of tools and insights for identifying and optimizing important operational processes.”
What do you find important in your work?
“What I find important is working together with the team to further improve our services. I like to help people, improve processes and connect people. Bring the right people together so that we can create a kind of synergy effect in our collaborations with the customer. I also think it’s important to inform customers and get them involved early in what it is we are doing for them.. This can play a crucial role in increasing our efficiency and customer satisfaction. I am a true team player and I really enjoy it when we can take next steps together in the further professionalizing our product development.”
What is your ambition?
“I find it important to maintain an open and transparent relationship with our customers and to actively listen to their feedback. I want to build an even closer relationship with our customers, so that we can help them achieve their strategic goals. And above all, I would like to see that our solutions are seamlessly aligned with the customer’s future. Being more of a partner to them and focusing on process improvements that contribute to that. I am very much looking forward to working with our customers in person!”
